Salt garden

We made a salt garden awhile back.  The recipe was on some Blueing agent used for laundry.

It looked very cool.

 It grew, and grew, and grew!

 

But my goodness that thing was messy!

It would spread to anything close to it.  Like our fruit bowls that were near it. And the counter tops.  It was fun to watch though.

I hear that ALL the time from Ike.  However, it is usually when he has something silly on his face or doing something odd.  So to make Ike happy here are several picture of Ike being just a tad bit silly.

Max's musical

What else is there to do while waiting for Max's musical to start at school?  Make silly faces for the camera of course!

Not sure if that is how you spell that candy or not.  Ike, I don't believe, is a big fan.

Yeah, good stuff!  I saw him take the first bite and his awful face that followed.  I told him to try it again... you know, so I could get a picture!

Halloween 2011

Spongebob, Pirate, Ninja, and a pumpkin.

 

Ike and Sam changed their minds SO many times.  In fact, Sam threw something together right before we went out to collect our loot.  Ike was going to be a fireman but changed his mind the day of as well.

Right before we left there was a wreck close to our house.  A real firetruck!

Ike loves anything fireman related so he was happy to see the truck.

Random Easter pictures

I only took a few pictures on Easter this year.  My kids with their cousins, who live in Chicago.  We love getting together with them but just don't see them all that much.
